他们在说啥??
Name:BertieComments:Hey everyone! Big congrats to Manu on the sub40!! I´ve already bestowed the appropriate congratulations on King Kamil ( ) for his ultimate ownage of the world record!
I just have some news from the math side: I´ve derived an equation giving the amount of unique boards for a given board and amount of mines. (this time taking symmetry into account properly ) I have however realized that, because of the intricacies of taking into account degeneracy in the symmetry states, that it would be best if, till I figure it out, I ignore symmetry. I still have to program the equation, so you´ll have to wait a while for the figures.
I also had a "Hey! What about..." idea. I´ll just start at a point. I wondered whether the method for finding the number of boards with one 8 could possibly be extented to what I dubbed "Traps". Basically a trap is when a closed square is surrounded by mines. And as it turns out, it can be. I then worked out the probability of the closed square being a mine or a number. Of course, on any specific board, if all the other mines are flagged, it is easy to tell, but we WR players never flag everything, thus that is of no use. Here are my results: -(on exp, int, beg) For an 8: -(80.89%, 87.45%, 98.18%) For a 5: -(80.38%, 86.4%, 93.10%) For a 3: -(80.04%, 85.71%, 90.00%)
Note: ALL these numbers are EXACT fractions!! Which I find very relavent!
So next time you are faced with such a situation, rest assured that luck is most definitely on your side! (compared with those 50/50´s and 33/66´s these are the best forced geusses to get)
Also, and most coolest!! I showed that as you enlarge your board size, while keeping the mine density constant, the probability of it not being a mine goes up!!! I think that that proves that the difficulty of a board is not simply given by the density!!! But then again, we already knew that.
Cheers Ronny says: Those numbers for trapped squares aint exactly strange. It´s simply a square without any information from surrounding squares, so as usual for expert about 1 out of 5 (substracted by the known mines surrounding it). However in reality the numbers are different then that, because if you´ve solved a board for about 80% you can roughly feel whether the last 20% of your board will be denser or less dense with mines than average.......making the decision to click on the surrounded square more subtle than just a 1 out 5. Especially on very low 3BV boards the chance of blasted a board in the end on a surrounded square is pretty big and it´s often better to wait till the end. 看Kamil的实力,高级扫到32秒也不奇怪。这是第一次爆发,应该还会提高。
